Your Next Adventure
Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment? Do you love bringing out the best in people while keeping operations running safely, smoothly, and efficiently? If so, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Value Stream Shift Manager to lead our production shift and help shape the future of our manufacturing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact — on your team, on our processes, and on the quality of products that reach our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Value Stream Shift Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the shift — guiding your team, solving problems, and ensuring we deliver safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

You’ll lead a motivated production team by creating a positive, engaging environment where people feel supported, recognised, and encouraged to perform at their best. This includes developing your team, managing attendance and welfare, driving performance through coaching and appraisals, overseeing training plans, communicating clearly through shift briefings, and handling recruitment and employee relations matters.

You’ll champion a strong safety culture by leading investigations, maintaining excellent housekeeping, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, encouraging hazard reporting, and delivering regular safety communications. Quality will be central to your role as you raise and own deviations, ensure adherence to SOPs and batch documentation, support audits, and monitor telemetry to maintain Right First-Time performance.

You’ll keep production running efficiently by aligning plans through S&OP, managing resources effectively, completing SIC documentation for OEE analysis, and driving schedule adherence. Alongside this, you’ll support continuous improvement by completing Oracle transactions, reducing waste, improving yield, minimising batch rejects, managing consumables to budget, and contributing to CAPEX, NPD, and wider improvement initiatives.

Success in this role means consistently meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, fostering an engaged and motivated team, maintaining strong GMP and H&S compliance, reducing waste and downtime, and achieving high levels of schedule adherence and Right First Time performance.

Who We’re Looking For
A self‑motivated, enthusiastic leader who brings energy, integrity, and a passion for continuous improvement. Someone who can balance day‑to‑day operations with a long‑term mindset — and who genuinely enjoys working with people.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience supervising production teams
  • Strong people management and ER experience
  • Background in low–medium volume, manual/semi‑automated production
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety
  • Experience in a regulated GMP environment
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively

  • Experience with Oracle or similar systems
  • Data analysis skills to support improvement projects
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading project teams and driving change
