The Opportunity

The Tax Coordinator plans, organises, and coordinates tax department activities, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and keeping updated on legal changes. The role supports tax-related demands across company units and manages tax returns, filings, and system updates related to tax reform. It also involves providing technical guidance to various departments and supporting audits and tax risk mitigation. Higher levels include tax planning, tax recovery projects, and advanced tax calculations such as Transfer Pricing and Corporate Income Tax under the Lucro Real regime

We have a broad and varied mission, and for this role the main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting tax demands from headquarters and branches, 
  • Calculating various direct and indirect taxes, 
  • Reviewing tax filings, 
  • Implementing tax reforms in ERP systems, 
  • Guiding multiple departments on tax matters, 
  • Supporting feasibility studies, 
  • Managing import/export tax regimes, 
  • Supporting audits, 
  • Drafting contracts and handling tax assessments, 
  • Developing internal procedures and training teams, 
  • Maintaining tax parameters, and performing tax vs. accounting reconciliations. 
  • Management duties involve performance monitoring, conflict resolution, and fostering an engaged team environment.


 About You

The role requires advanced Excel skills, comprehensive knowledge of tax legislation, experience with the Lucro Real tax regime, and progressive proficiency in English. You will need to demonstrate a holistic and systemic mindset, strong attention to detail and critical thinking, organisational and planning skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
