The Opportunity 

The Senior Manager, Global Integration and Operations reports to the Vice President, Global Business and Corporate Development and is responsible for managing and maximizing the value of strategic partnerships and licensed assets across the company’s global animal health portfolio.

Following the execution of licensing agreements, research collaborations, or strategic partnerships, this role ensures successful integration, governance, and performance management of external alliances. The role will act as the primary interface between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on development, regulatory, and commercial objectives.

Working cross-functionally with R&D, commercial, regulatory, and operations teams, the role ensures that partnerships are effectively integrated into the organization and deliver their intended strategic and financial value.

This is a remote role and can be based either in the US or UK


So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

Strategic Alliance Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship lead for key strategic partnerships and licensed assets.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partner organizations to ensure effective collaboration and transparency.
  • Ensure alignment between partner organizations and internal stakeholders on program goals, timelines, and deliverables. 

Integration and Partnership Governance

  • Lead integration planning and execution for newly licensed or acquired assets.
  • Ensure smooth transition from deal execution to operational delivery.
  • Coordinate internal teams to align development plans, regulatory strategy, and commercial planning.
  • Establish and manage alliance governance structures including: joint steering committees; joint development teams; and operational working groups.
  • Coordinate regular governance meetings and ensure effective decision-making processes.
  • Monitor partnership performance against agreed milestones and contractual obligations.

Alliance Management & Integration

  • Ensure effective oversight of post-deal integration to ensure seamless transition and value realization. 
  • The key relationship manager for strategic alliances, ensuring alignment of expectations, contract adherence, and issue resolution. 
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful operationalization of new business agreements. 

Partnership Performance Management

  • Track and report on partnership performance, milestones, and key contractual obligations.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges within alliances.
  • Ensure partnerships continue to deliver strategic and financial value to the company.

Relationship Management

  • Act as a neutral facilitator to resolve conflicts or misalignment between partners and internal teams.
  • Promote collaborative working relationships and trust between organizations.
  • Provide feedback to business development and portfolio teams on partnership performance and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to improving alliance structures and collaboration models for future deals.

  • Strong background in product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in a global/matrix environment
  • Deep understanding of the global animal health market including key therapeutic areas and regulatory frameworks and global commercial dynamics
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Vast global experience in business development or commercial strategy within animal health, pharmaceuticals or life sciences, 
  • Experience in digital health, AI-driven business development, or innovative go-to-market models.
  • Knowledge of key markets, including Europe, North America, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific.
