The Opportunity

Dechra is an international specialist veterinary pharmaceuticals products business. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, and sales and marketing of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst who will play a critical role in driving strategic financial decisions by providing insightful analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency. This position is a hybrid role and will require some attendance on the Somersby site.

Main Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

Analyse financial data and trends to support strategic planning and decision-making
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
Develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
Support cost-benefit analysis for new initiatives and investments
Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders internal and external to Dechra
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) - desirable
Prior experience with data modelling and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) - desirable
Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages - desirable
