The Opportunity 

The purpose of this role is to support the governance, continuous improvement, implementation, maintenance and optimisation of Veeva Quality - Dechra's cloud-based electronic Quality System (Veeva Quality Cloud) which encompasses Veeva QDocs and Veeva QMS.   The role acts as the business process support and a liaison between Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Digital & Technology System Administrators to ensure that Veeva Quality processes remain compliant, effective, scalable and aligned to regulatory requirements and business objectives. The role supports global process harmonisation, deployment of new Veeva capabilities, business change management, system effectiveness monitoring and data-driven continuous improvement across the Dechra Manufacturing and Supply network. 

Role Responsibility 
 
QMS Governance & Compliance 

• Support the QMS Manager in the governance, development and ongoing maintenance of Veeva Quality. 

• Ensure QMS processes remain aligned with GMP, GDP and applicable global regulatory requirements.   

• Support periodic review of quality processes and system effectiveness. 

System Administration 

• Support configuration change requests through approved change control processes.   

• Coordinate business testing activities and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).   

• Support tri-annual Veeva releases and new functionality deployment.   

• Manage business administration activities including:   

Business Process Improvement 

• Partner with Global Subsystem Owners and Site SMEs to identify improvement opportunities   

• Support QMS Manager (Governance) to drive harmonisation of quality processes across Dechra sites.   

• Support implementation of digital quality initiatives and automation opportunities.   

• Facilitate workshops to optimise business processes and system utilisation. 

Deployment & Change Management 

• Support onboarding of new sites onto Veeva Quality.   

• Coordinate deployment activities 

Data & Reporting 

• Develop and maintain quality system dashboards and KPI reporting.   

• Analyse data trends to identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities.   

• Provide management reporting  

• There may also be a requirement for wider system administrator support to ensure the appropriate integration of the Veeva Quality and other systems for compliance and unified practices.

 
The Candidate

Experience administering or supporting Veeva Quality Cloud or equivalent QMS system.

Strong knowledge of: Document Management, Change Control and Deviations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.

Effective technical and non-technical communicator.Strong stakeholder management. 

Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

Data analysis and interpretation.

Degree Level Educated or Equivalent experience.

Experience with GxP, GMP and/or of working with Veeva Systems and Vaults (desirable).

Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment (desirable, not essential).

 
Additional Information: 
 

  • Occasional global travel may be required with this role.
  • This role is based in the UK / remote with occasional office meetings in the North West.
