The Opportunity
This position is responsible for financial and management reporting, forecasts and budgets in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This position will interact with all functional areas within the organization to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, expense deduction and total Gross-To-Net (GTN) reporting vs Forecast and Budgets as applicable within company financial policies. This position will support members of Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure accurate records are maintained.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
Financial Management & Preparation of Accounts
- Supporting the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts for Revenue, Adjustments to Revenue, and Cost of Goods Sold as well as inventory including variance analysis.
- Ensure/demonstrate compliance with Baseline Controls for Revenue, Adjustments to Revenue, and Costs of Goods Sold as well as inventory.
- Process, validate and reconcile customer reimbursement and shortage & damage requests. Issue credit memos for approved gross to net programs. Customer liaison in dispute scenarios.
Month End/ General Accounting
- Liaise with Commercial, Operations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and maintaining deduction liability levels with appropriate program level accruals to support balance sheet analysis.
- Perform month-end close and year end close procedures including journal entries for responsibility areas including Revenue, Adjustments to Revenue, and Cost of Goods Sold.
- Process credits associated with deductions including chargebacks, rebates, and other discounts to customer accounts. Prepare corresponding month end analysis of customer programs.
Commercial Analytics – Adjustments to Revenue
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quarterly promotions, marketing allowances, move-out allowances or other Adjustments to Revenue.
- Assist with analyzing Future Forecast GTN.
Financial Statements & Reporting
- Develop and Maintain Customer and Product P&Ls for US Company including allocation methodology where necessary. This will require liaising with the Finance and Commercial teams for areas where product or customer attributes are not specifically known.
General
- Provide technical reporting and operational improvements in areas such as Promotion Program Dashboards.
- Provide technical reporting and operational improvement related to GTN reporting in company transformation projects.
- Liaise with external auditors for half year and year end processes.
- Provide support on a range of other ad-hoc projects.

- CPA preferred
- 3+ years relevant working experience

- Excellent Excel skills and Macro experience preferred
- Technical competencies including data management and database reporting as they pertain to GTN and Customer program performance.
- Oracle or other ERP experience
